HavenzHub

Smarter buildings. Stronger businesses.

01. Project Objective

Havenz Hub is the core app of the Havenz Tech ecosystem. It connects companies, buildings, and users in one digital space. The goal was to bring all the intelligence of Havenz Hub to mobile devices.

The app allows secure building access, real-time data, and full automation. It shows how smart infrastructure can be simple and easy to use.

02. Business Impact Forecast

Havenz Hub is more than an app. It creates value for clients and recurring revenue for Havenz Tech.

Revenue projection
Why companies choose Havenz Hub
  • $50,000 per company per year. If 10 small companies subscribe → $500,000/year.

  • Medium and large clients can generate $120,000+/year each.

  • One platform for energy, security, climate, and water systems.

  • Simple interface that needs little training.

  • Real-time AI insights and alerts.

  • Advanced security with facial recognition and dynamic permissions.

Competitors only offer pieces of the puzzle. Havenz Hub delivers a complete system that scales.

03. Market Research

Before we started designing, we looked at the market and what was missing.

Competitors: most had clunky interfaces, only one function (like cameras or energy), and no room to scale.

Market needs: companies wanted a central, secure, and user-friendly platform.

Havenz Hub offers exactly that. It combines clean design, total system integration, and exclusive features like AI-driven insights and advanced dashboards.

04. Solution

We started by creating the brand identity for Havenz Hub. The goal was to capture the futuristic and intergalactic feel the client wanted.

Designed a logo that feels modern and bold. Also chose a clean, modern typeface that would be used later across all app screens.

This identity set the tone for everything that came after. It gave Havenz Hub a strong and recognizable presence before we even began working on the product experience.

Built with Purpose
The goal wasn’t more features — it was fewer headaches. We built Havenz Hub to simplify complexity, as a single, connected platform. Every design decision came from that need: reduce friction, deliver control, and make smart tech feel effortless.

05. Ideation

We began the ideation phase with brainstorming sessions and competitor research to shape the app’s look and feel. Most competitors focused on only one function, had rigid dashboards, and ignored AI-driven data.
Havenz Hub stands out by
  • Centralizing all building systems in one app
  • Offering a user version and a powerful admin version.
  • Allowing admins to manage multiple properties remotely.
  • Providing real-time employee location, camera access, and complete device control.
  • Supporting light and dark modes for accessibility and user preference.
After the research and the ideations sections, we sketched user flows and created low-fidelity wireframes. Then, we gathered feedback from the client, team members, and experts in UX, marketing, and operations.

06. Wireframing

User Flow
Gave us a full picture of how people would move through the app. It showed us which paths were smooth and where friction could appear.

Low-fi
Allowed us test different layouts quickly. We could explore ideas and fix problems without spending time on visuals.
Mid-fi
Added more detail and interactions. These let us check the navigation and features with the client before we decided on the final design.

07. Prototyping

We designed separate views for everyday users and system administrators to better meet their specific needs. This split allows each group to access the right tools without clutter or confusion.
User version
Allow users check building status, receive alerts, view AI insights, follow the social feed, and manage their profiles.
Admin version
Gives admins full control of devices, cameras, and employee locations while managing multiple properties at once.

08. Outcome

Next Steps
Next steps include adding analytics for administrators and launching the full web dashboard. The dashboard will allow companies to manage multiple properties with full control.
Havenz Tech will also release 55” and 65” display screens. These screens will show data and building insights in shared spaces. Together with the new mobile features, these updates will make Havenz Hub even more valuable and set it apart in the market.
Reflections

This project taught me how to build a tool that is powerful yet simple. Every decision was about security, clarity, and scalability.

Working with the Havenz Tech team, we built an app that makes complex systems easy to manage. Great design is not only about visuals—it’s about helping people work better and achieve results.
